Just as we welcome our children into our families at home, we also welcome them into our church family through the Sacrament of Baptism. We celebrate Baptisms on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month and the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month except during Lent.
If this is your first child to be baptized or you have not attended a Baptism Preparation Class in the last five years, you need to register for a Baptism Preparation Class. This class gives the parents an understanding of the Sacrament of Baptism as well as instructs them on their responsibilities of Catholic parenting.

FIRST RECONCILIATION AND FIRST EUCHARIST
We look forward to our children joining us at the Table of the Lord each Sunday receiving Jesus in the Holy Eucharist. First Communion as well as First Reconciliation normally takes place during the second grade. Attendance in first grade is a prerequisite to be prepared for the sacraments in the second grade. Parents are expected to take an active part in the preparation for these sacraments.

Baptism, the Eucharist, and the sacrament of Confirmation together constitute the sacraments of Christian initiation, which lay the foundation for Christian life. In particular, Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace, and helps prepare us to spread and defend the faith after being fully initiated into the Church. Confirmation begins in the fall of eight grade where teens and there parents and/or sponsors will sessions to help prepare them to be confirmed later in the year. Confirmation sessions are every other month until Confirmation.

Please pray the following for our Candidates: Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth. O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
Through the union of marriage, a couple seeks to be drawn closer to each other, to the church, and to God. In preparation for matrimony, both partners must meet with the priest and all scheduling for marriage is to be completed no less than six (6) months prior to the desired wedding date. Additionally, the couple must participate in pre-marriage instructions before the wedding.
