“Spiritual Adoption of the Unborn” begins again on March 25, 2022.

We welcome everyone to pray for the unborn again this year – from March 25 (Feast of the Annunciation) to December 25. We pray ALL children will be given life this year.

Let’s consecrate our prayers through both the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Chaste Heart of St. Joseph.

Sponsored by the Social Concerns and Altar & Rosary Society

Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I love you very much.  I beg you to spare the life of the unborn baby that I have spiritually adopted who is in danger of abortion.”

Prayer of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen

You can participate by simply praying the above prayer, or any prayer you like, each day for these nine months. If you would like to be put on our email list (if you haven’t given us your email in the past!),  contact us at office@stteresaparish.com. We send out information throughout the year to help support our efforts. WELCOME!

While this child will remain unknown to you, his or her ‘spiritual parent’, God knows who the child is. Many people have found that naming ‘their child’ helps to keep them focused on the reality that their prayers are helping to save a particular baby from the harm of abortion.

Venerable Archbishop Fulton Sheen promoted this idea of “spiritual adoption”.
